David Allen, a historian of U.S. foreign relations and author of Every Citizen a Statesman: The Dream of a Democratic Foreign Policy in the American Century, will join us for a discussion on his groundbreaking book. Through his book, Allen explores the influential role of local World Affairs Councils in fostering vibrant discussion groups across the nation, where citizens gathered to share knowledge and insights on global issues. The event will be moderated by WACA Vice Chair Mimi Gregory, promising an engaging and thought-provoking conversation.
